The Closet Connector Housing (CCH) is a 19" rack mounting chassis ideally suited for accomodating Corning Plug & Play trunk cable terminations, field-installed connectors such as Corning Anaerobic or Unicam or fusion spliced pigtails

Corning MTP Plug & Play trunks are plugged into CCH MTP modules that simply clip into the chassis

For field-installed connectors or Corning Plug & Play trunk cables factory terminated with conventional connectors, a range of Closet Connector Housing Panels are available

The Closet Connector Housing Panels are ordered separately, supplied fitted with connector adaptors to suit your application. These panels simply clip into the chassis

CCH Panels are available with FC, ST, SC, LC, MTRJ or MTP connector adaptors. The CCH is supplied with blank CCH Panels fitted

The modular nature of the CCH allows fibre optic connector styles to be mixed in the same chassis. You can even add copper CAT5e/6/7 modules

The CCH is available in 1U, 2U, 3U or 4U sizes that accept up to 2, 4, 6, or 12 CCH Panels/MTP modules respectively

The 1U-3U CCH have a slide-out drawer for easy connector access and a hinged front door
|

Jumper rings are provided for patch cable management. There are numerous fibre guides inside the chassis for fibre/pigtail management and etched illustrations in the base to show the installer suggested fibre routes

Doors are see-through and can be fitted with an optional key lock mechanism. 1U-3U chassis have see-through and removeable lids

Includes an internal cable strain relief that can be repositioned inside the chassis
|

Slotted holes in the 19" mounting ears support one-person installation by allowing the user to install mounting screws in the cabinet first and then lower the chassis onto the screws

Brackets to recess the chassis or project it forward are available upon request

Splice cassettes are available where fusion splice termination is preferred. The splice cassette includes a 24f splice tray, 12 splice protectors and fixings. CCH panels can be fitted to the splice cassette for presentation of the pigtails

Please order pigtails separately. Slack cassettes are available for excess fibre storage
